Annual Participation Fee

The fee is annual and graduated based on size:

  • Kr. 5.000 for small tourism organizations
    • Applies to offices in small and smaller towns
  • Kr. 10.000 for medium-sized tourism organizations
    • Applies to offices in medium-sized cities and areas
  • Kr. 15.000 for large tourism organizations
    • Applies to national, regional, and metropolitan offices
  • From April 1, 2025, an audit fee of kr. 5.500 will be charged for all physical audits (inspection visits), except for the first one, which takes place in connection with the Green Tourism Organization application. Thereafter, it is mandatory to undergo a physical audit the year after certification is granted and then every three years.

Application Fee

  • When initiating the application process to become Green Key certified, a registration fee of kr. 7.500 is charged. This fee covers case processing, the first external audit, guidance, and a starter package including a sign and other communication materials.
